Lesson 39: The Foundation of StrategyEveryone’s resources are limited. We must choose our priorities. The effort that we put into one area is necessarily taken from some other opportunity. We cannot do everything. We have to decide what opportunities we are willing to sacrifice for the success of others. We have to make choices. The purpose of mastering strategy is to enable us to make the best possible choices in a complex, confused world. |
